Training of Privacy Officers 
There are significant responsibilities placed on state and local government agencies and private health service providers under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002.
Not only are there responsibilities in relation to the management of "personal" and "health information", covering its:
* Collection
* Storage (security)
* Use
* Access
* Disclosure and
* Disposal
there are also responsibilities related to dealing with complaints and statutory obligations related to the reporting of privacy matters and the need for Privacy Management Plans.
Failure to company with these Acts may lead to financial penalties and, in certain cases, criminal charges.
Briefing Sessions are available for Management and Staff and Training Sessions are availbe for Privacy Officers.
