Not only electronic mail will be tracked, but post and parcels will also have information rerecorded about them. If this were Russia, China or Nazi Germany we would shake our heads in disbelief. The crazy thing is the government says “only evil-doers should be frightened”.
This is supposed to be one of the most democratic countries in the history of the world. They are basically saying “Trust us; we won’t do the wrong thing.” Didn’t they just finish at the issue of illegal wire and telephone taps?
