If no one said All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.”, then someone should have, because it is true. The same thing goes for bullies and injustice. As scary as it can be, if you are going to consider yourself human, then you have to speak out for what it right.

Not only will it record the logs of citizens’ Internet history, giving officials access to the browsing habits of roughly 60 million people — it will include sensitive visits to medical, dating, or pornography websites (http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/europe/mass-surveillance-uk-releases-new-details-of-plan-to-track-all-citizens-communications/2012/06/14/gJQARl53bV_print.html).
Not only electronic mail will be tracked, but post and parcels will also have information rerecorded about them. If this were Russia, China or Nazi Germany we would shake our heads in disbelief. The crazy thing is the government says “only evil-doers should be frightened”.
This is supposed to be one of the most democratic countries in the history of the world. They are basically saying “Trust us; we won’t do the wrong thing.” Didn’t they just finish at the issue of illegal wire and telephone taps?
